I was recently contacted by Jay, one of the owners of the previously posted The Knottery, requesting some specific comments on their products. I should note, the products received mirrored my expectations, and from a business perspective, their products will satisfy, and most probably exceed the expectations of their target market. On reflection, the boutinoirre’s are great quality, however are better suited to the gentleman of a larger stature. On me, they overpower my lapel, and ultimately the suits silhouette. I originally saw them on Uncle Beebo’s Tumblr, and they look fantastic on him. With respect to the ties, unfortunately on opening the transport packaging, one of the ties caught on to the edge of the box and pulled at the weave of the tail. Though no fault of The Knottery’s the quality was somewhat disheartening (photos to come) but again, on comparison of apples to apples, I shouldn’t expect quality to match that of Drakes, for example. I urge that while the while the products aren’t suited to my taste, and my personal style, they could very well be for you. Thanks Jay for your email. IA
